Months after the first lockdown, things still haven’t returned to normal. Restrictions rule everyday life. Schools are still closed and we’re still a long way from what one might term as “normality”. One thing we can say for sure, however, is that people are much poorer than they were before the pandemic and what little infrastructure has been established here, is not based on a sure foundation and will soon crumble like a house of cards. The Shanti Public School is still not up and running, unfortunately, but people are asking for more help every single day.
