Angel for a Day Markham - September 2017

Together with Sara Young and 105 Gibson Centre, who organise recreational activities for young people, the Child & Family Foundation implemented an "Angel for a Day" campaign for socially disadvantaged adolescents on 21 September 2017. On this special day the beneficiaries made detailed plans for the future.

The around 80 adolescents from difficult social situations received the opportunity to become acquainted with various professions. In addition, the youngsters could analyse their strengths and weaknesses during a career counselling session. After a collective lunch that offered the perfect setting for in-depth discussions with the counsellors, a sports activity followed that aimed to strengthen team spirit and provide a successful ending to an eventful day.
