On 24th August 2019, the children's flight day took place for the third time in the grounds of the Whiskey Distillery and Café Lounge Peter Affenzeller in Alberndorf in Riedmark.

Over 100 children were given the chance to experience a helicopter ride and to enjoy the feel of flying. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the physically, psychologically and socially-disadvantaged children who were able to escape their everyday worries for a few hours.

Our special thanks goes to our partners and hard-working team of helpers who ensured that the day was a truly unforgettable one.

Big thanks goes to all the volunteers who helped us with the set up of the event: Peter Affenzeller and his team, myWorld Austria, the Rotary Club Gallneukirchen-Gusental, Oliver Mandel (huskies), Christian Fürthauer (childrens cocktail bar), PROAD (t-shirts), Moser (event livery), Foto Indra, Omi’s Apfelstrudel and to the Fleischmanufaktur Anton Riepl.

Last but not least, we would like to thank Gerry Seebacher who gave the children the ride on his special Harley Davidson trike and gave them the feeling of freedom on three wheels.

In our projects, our main focus is on educational support, especially in our school projects. We believe that education is the pathway to empower people to build a better future for themselves.

Continuously supporting schools in their operation is just as well part of our work as is the construction and improvement of school infrastructure. Creating access to a secure educational environment free of charge in poor regions with comparatively high educational costs and inadequate public facilities is our goal.

Hundreds of children attend our schools around the world, from India to Central America, from South Africa to the Philippines, thanks to the generosity of our heroes.

Many women and men support us and have supported us through generous donations.

Nevertheless, only a few have taken the responsibility, the challenge, and the courage to donate regularly through our sponsorship programme.
