We have partnered with Platus Learning Systems, the Austrian specialist in assistive technology, augmentative and alternative communication, and special wheelchair controls, to further our commitment to educational equality, equal opportunity, inclusion, and social projects.
Platus Learning Systems was founded in 2004 by educators and technicians with one goal in mind: to develop learning and therapy systems. Since then, the company has become one of Austria's leading specialists in assistive technology, augmentative and alternative communication, and special wheelchair controls.
Platus' primary goal is to find the right, individually adapted aid for everyone who needs it. In keeping with the company's motto, "The aid must fit perfectly!", Platus' highly trained staff will come to the client's home upon request and work with the client to test and customize the required aid and provide comprehensive advice on the diagnosis, treatment and provision of AT and AAC.
The CEO of Platus, Daniel Sturmair, is one of the leading experts for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT) in the German-speaking world and has been working with life-changing technologies since 2004. He also works as a coach and shares his extensive expertise in various workshops, lectures at FHG - Innsbruck Logopädie, SOB Josee and FH Technikum Wien, as well as at various conferences.
