Back to School in Mexico: CFF Visit and Donations at Escuela para el Futuro

A new school year is starting in many countries, and Mexico is no exception. In September, the kindergarten at the Escuela para el Futuro, which has been built and supported by CFF since 2019, reopened its doors to one hundred disadvantaged children in the San Juan de Abajo area of León, Mexico.

September is also a significant month in Mexican history. On September 16th, the students celebrate Independence Day, with typical activities organized to honor the occasion.

The children wear traditional folkloric clothing, recite historical texts, and perform plays and dances.

On this day, Alejandro, the CFF project manager, visited the school and delivered an important donation for the children: fans, sturdy bookshelves, and school supplies.

Summer in Mexico often brings temperatures exceeding 40 degrees, and the school is not air-conditioned.

On behalf of all the kindergarten children, we send a big THANK YOU to the generous supporters who made this donation possible.
