An exciting day for underprivileged children in Thailand

The “Angel for a Day” campaign in Thailand brought smiles to the faces of many.

Christmas is a celebration for family. However, many children are denied the pleasures of the Christmas season due to a lack of financial resources. To give homeless children, orphans and underprivileged children in Bangkok a Christmas surprise, the Child & Family Foundation initiated an "Angel for a Day" campaign in cooperation with the Baan Nokkamin Foundation.

The star of the show was the Child & Family Foundation mascot Lyco, who sang and danced with the children - a special highlight for the children as they had never seen a mascot before. With great enthusiasm, they then took the opportunity to paint and do handicraft work. They proudly presented their pictures to their beloved caretakers, and even gave some them of their works of art as gifts.

After that, they played a game in which they had to identify and look for certain animals on pictures. After everyone had received a small gift, the children, caretakers and helpers ended this exciting day by sharing a delicious meal.

On behalf of all the children, we would like to thank the myWorld Community and all volunteers who contributed to the success of this "Angel for a Day" initiative.
