A project by the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation Association in cooperation with several social institutions, the Thalerhof Airport Graz and the “Schwarzl Freizeitzentrum”

Project Description

The Children Flying Day in Hohenems inspired the Lyoness Child & Family Foundation Association to organise their own Children Flying Day in Graz. In 2012 the CFE initiated this great event offering children and teenagers from different Styrian social institutions the chance to spend a carefree day and to enjoy a short sightseeing flight over Graz. This year as well, the day turned out to be a great success and the CFE got very positive feedback.

In addition to the sightseeing flights, an extensive supporting programme was provided this year as well.

Project Goals

The event’s goal was to provide children and teenagers in difficult social or psychological situations with some time off and to show them the world in a different way by offering the perspective from above.
