A project cooperation with the “Children & Family Service Orange County Social Service Agency".

Project Description

The first “Angel for a Day“ in the U.S. was established to create an unforgettable day for foster children and their families. Children and families, who are mentored by the “Children & Family Service Orange County Social Service Agency“, were supported. These are families, foster or adoptive parents which often cannot afford excursions or leisure activities with their children due to their financial situation.

Therefore, the last home match of the Los Angeles Angels against the Rangers came at exactly the right moment to make an unforgettable day happen and to give the home Baseball team the best possible support together with the organizers of the event and the Lyoness Members.

The meeting point of the day was the “Angels Stadion of Anaheim“ where all children were welcomed by our Lyco. After a short warm-up game, the children were given baseball caps of the Angels, so they could take a lasting memory of this day to home. The joy was great for everyone since they, were now fully equipped to walk into the stadium. An exciting game awaited the entire group, which was only interrupted by short breaks at the hot dog stand. Unfortunately, the Angels could not defeat the strong Rangers despite the support of our group. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful day for all children, parents and Lyoness Members and it will be long remembered.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Lyoness Members who made this day possible and we are looking forward to the next "Angel for a Day" in the United States.
