The CFF and Lyconet Marketers in Poland decided to organise another charitable campaign. After already supporting a centre for single mothers back in December 2014, they decided to organise an “Angel for a Day” campaign in October 2015. This time the beneficiaries were disadvantaged children from the primary school in Sychowo. Emilia Mielnik, a Lyconet Marketer, is one of the teachers at the primary school and therefore knows exactly which children come from disadvantaged families. With the help of volunteers from our Community, the CFF and the Lyoness Poland office, Emilia organised a wonderful and unforgettable day for these children. The first stop of the day was a ferry that the children soon set about exploring. Following a short pit-stop to stock up on energy, the group took a trip to a garden centre, where they learnt lots of interesting things, including how to put together a beautiful bouquet for their families. Further highlights included a trip to a leisure centre with 140 trampolines, and a goodie bag filled with balls, books, notepads and pens - unforgettable moments for all the children.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible. Without the support of all the dedicated volunteers from our Community many children would otherwise not be able to experience special days such as this one.
A special thank you goes out to:

The aim of this event was to offer 30 disadvantaged school children in Poland a day away from their difficult daily lives. The intention was to organise educational and fun activities together with Partners and volunteers and to surprise the children with small gifts.
