Training and continued education for better quality teaching

It is not only important that kids go to school, but also that they really learn something there.

If the teaching plan has no content, attending school will not provide increased opportunities for a better future. Hence the Child & Family Foundation concept for San Roque Elementary also includes teacher certification, adapting the lesson plan to the local needs as well as ensuring modern educational methods.

In the months following renovations, emphasis was placed on expanding the lesson plan, tailoring it to local needs and circumstances. Math and science should be taught using modern teaching materials. Construction of a computer lab covered the lack of computer classes.

A library was built as well. Upgraded and child-friendly equipment was provided for agriculture, nutrition and health lessons.

In our projects, our main focus is on educational support, especially in our school projects. We believe that education is the pathway to empower people to build a better future for themselves.

Continuously supporting schools in their operation is just as well part of our work as is the construction and improvement of school infrastructure. Creating access to a secure educational environment free of charge in poor regions with comparatively high educational costs and inadequate public facilities is our goal.

Hundreds of children attend our schools around the world, from India to Central America, from South Africa to the Philippines, thanks to the generosity of our heroes.

Many women and men support us and have supported us through generous donations.
