Recycling workshop at the Projeto Textil

The course portfolio at the Projeto Textil in Parajuru, Brazil could be expanded thanks to the initiative of the on-site instructors. In addition to the existing course, in which shoulder bags are made from recycled kite materials (KiteBax), a recycling workshop is now also being offered. Twelve young women are thereby learning how to create new products from recycled materials.

This not only creates awareness in today's throwaway society, but also gives these women the opportunity to let their creativity flow and create stylish and useful products for domestic use. The best products and wares are available for sale at the project shop. A huge thanks goes to Claudenia for supervising the workshop and her creative input!

In our projects, our main focus is on educational support, especially in our school projects. We believe that education is the pathway to empower people to build a better future for themselves.

Continuously supporting schools in their operation is just as well part of our work as is the construction and improvement of school infrastructure. Creating access to a secure educational environment free of charge in poor regions with comparatively high educational costs and inadequate public facilities is our goal.

Hundreds of children attend our schools around the world, from India to Central America, from South Africa to the Philippines, thanks to the generosity of our heroes.

Many women and men support us and have supported us through generous donations.
