The Nelson Mandela No-Moscow Primary School is rebuilt with the help of the Child & Family Foundation

Since the school was rebuilt as part of a Child & Family Foundation project, we certainly don't want to leave them in the lurch now.

The Nelson Mandela No-Moscow Primary School was rebuilt in 2012/2013 thanks to a collaborative project between Child & Family Foundation South Africa and Child & Family Foundation Europe and formally presented to the Qunu Community as part of a festive ceremony. It was obvious that we would choose to reconstruct the school as part of a collaborative project.

Quotes for reconstruction were prepared on the basis of the damage assessment. The company, Afripanel, who were responsible for the construction of the new school building, was commissioned to perform the repairs.  Just as in 2013, we were also able to secure Quinton O'Neill for the completion of the construction project.

In order to protect the school from future damage, they decided to construct a natural wind barrier (consisting of a wall of earth and trees), thanks to a local Lyoness Loyalty Merchant's support.
